Scholarship & Stipend

SCHOLARSHIP & STIPEND The trainees belonging to the categories of SC, ST, Women, OBC, and PWD are being facilitated to receive financial assistance from the Government for both day scholars and hostellers at Government-approved rates. Apart from this, in order to bring competency in training, merit scholarships for each trade/unit are being provided to learners. In addition, the wards of building workers are facilitated to receive financial assistance as per Government regulations. Post trainees engaged in Apprenticeship training in different sectors of organizations are receiving a monthly stipend at the approved rate of the Government of India. Prerana (Post-Matric Scholarship Registration Release & Network Automation): https://scholarship.odisha.gov.in/website/home Sudakshya Scheme: https://scholarship.odisha.gov.in/website/home With a view to empowering girls and young women by providing technical and vocational training, and taking into consideration the recommendations of the SFC in this regard, the Government has been pleased to initiate a new scheme called “SUDAKSHYA”. This scheme aims to improve girls’ enrollment in Government ITIs from the existing 7% to 30% by 2020. The financial assistance under this scheme is applicable to all girl trainees enrolled in Government ITIs during the training sessions 2017–18 and 2018–19.
